Balancing Your Life using Mother Nature- Part 1/6

Did you know Mother Nature has a blueprint already in place for living a balanced life? You may already be using it without knowing. If not,  you can learn how it works and start incorporating ideas for your life as we go.

Using Mother Nature’s design to live a healthier life can work for almost anyone. Especially if you already know you feel calmer, more relaxed and grounded just being in nature, then there’s something here for you. She has a cyclical,  flowing rhythm. It’s seen in the seasons of the year, the seasons of our lives, the four directions of the compass, and the flow of the day with the sun cycles.

Each of these seasons and directions has an energy and mood. I’ll explain each as we go along. 

I'll jump into the meat of things next week, but if you’re intrigued, I have an invitation for you between now and then. Grab a pen and journal and head outside to a natural setting, somewhere where you can be alone if possible, and have a seat. Spend some time just sitting and noticing your surroundings. Use your ears, eyes, nose, tongue, and skin to notice what your senses pick up. Write down anything that strikes you. How does being there make you feel? Emotionally? Physically? Just 20 minutes. More if you’ve got time. Once is all I ask, twice would be even better.
